The first appointment is about understanding what is happening, what matters to you and what may be possible. You do not need a diagnosis or a referral letter before contacting us.
Initial specialist consultation: £250
The fee includes your specialist assessment and all relevant scans required at that appointment. We will explain our findings clearly and discuss the appropriate next steps with you.
What is included?
Your consultation will usually include:
- time to discuss your concerns, dental history and what you would like to achieve
- a specialist clinical examination
- the relevant scans needed to assess and diagnose the problem
- a clear explanation of the findings and available options
- an outline of the likely treatment stages, timing and costs
What happens afterwards?
Some people need reassurance or advice only. Others may benefit from treatment, further planning or coordination with their own dentist. We will explain what we recommend and why.
You will not be expected to decide immediately. If treatment is recommended, we will provide a clear plan and costs before it begins.
Does £250 include treatment?
The consultation fee covers the assessment and relevant scans. It does not include treatment. Treatment fees depend on the care required and will be discussed with you before you commit to anything.
Do I need a referral?
No. Patients can contact Olaria directly. If your dentist has referred you, we will review what they have sent and communicate with them as appropriate. If records or information are missing, we can fill in the gaps during your assessment.
No unexpected additions
If anything outside the consultation fee is recommended, we will explain the reason and cost before proceeding.
